Description
Nothing Happened Here uses staged photography to unsettle the idea that colonial violence and Indigenous dispossession belong only to the distant past. Jeremy Dennis places Native figures within contemporary or historically charged settings to reveal the histories that remain present but are often ignored.
The series challenges viewers to question what has been omitted from familiar landscapes and narratives. Its images make visible the tension between memory, erasure, and the ongoing presence of Indigenous people.
