Join us for a special guest curator walkthrough of Adorned Futures: Fabric, Form, and Indigenous Resistance on Tuesday, March 3, 12–2pm at FIT’s Art and Design Gallery. Guest curator Jeremy Dennis, founder of Ma’s House, will be joined by participating artists for a conversational tour through the exhibition, sharing insight into the collaborative process between Ma’s House resident artists, Shinnecock artisans, and FIT students and faculty.
On view February 25–March 29, 2026, Adorned Futures explores art, textile, beadwork, wearable art, and fashion as powerful sites of cultural resilience, Indigenous futurism, and environmental storytelling. Together, we’ll reflect on how adornment can serve as both creative expression and resistance, honoring ancestral knowledge while imagining Indigenous futures grounded in sovereignty, sustainability, and care for the land.
