Rivers of Relations will be exhibited November 30th as part of Native American Heritage Month at Binghamton’s Bundy Museum. The exhibit focuses on local Native history through to present day but highlight the importance of relationships and give some perspective on contemporary Indigenous issues. While we will be focusing on Haudenosaunee themes, we felt it still relevant to include work from Shinnecock because of the relations between the Haudenosaunee and coastal tribes like Shinnecock.
The opening day of our exhibit will be November 30th and will run for several months.
Binghamton is recognized as being within Onondaga land.
