Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio is thrilled to announce an upcoming exhibit, “Resilient Roots,” from August 17 to November 16, 2025.
This exhibit will explore the theme of resilience through Shinnecock artists’ vibrant and diverse talents. We invite artists across all mediums—beadwork, dance, singing, visual art, and more—to create and submit new works that embody the spirit of resilience.
The exhibit will be hosted at Ma’s House and curated by Jeremy Dennis, Lead Artist of Ma’s House.
Submission Details:
- Eligibility: Open to Shinnecock artists.
- Seeking new work created in 2025
- Participation Stipend: Each selected artist will receive $300 for their participation.
- Submission Deadline: March 30, 2025.
