Jeremy Dennis Featured in “The Worker” Exhibition Presented by OLA of Eastern Long Island and the North Fork Arts Center

Greenport, NY — Artist Jeremy Dennis is proud to announce his participation in The Worker, a new group exhibition presented by OLA of Eastern Long Island (Organización Latino Americana) and the North Fork Arts Center (NFAC). The exhibition opens with a public reception on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at NFAC, 211 Front Street, Greenport, NY, and will remain on view through November 13, 2025.

Curated by Kelynn Z. Alder, The Worker invites artists and audiences to reconsider what it means to be a “worker” — expanding the term beyond its reductive and economic definitions. As a Latino-focused advocacy organization, OLA aims to highlight the full humanity, complexity, and dignity of individuals whose labor, creativity, and resilience sustain our communities.

The exhibition features an impressive roster of artists whose works explore labor, identity, and belonging through diverse media and perspectives, including:
Amy Wickersham, Aurelio Torres, Candy Heiland, Carlos Morales, Eric Fischl, Estefany Molina, Filiberto Perez, Gabriele Raacke, James McGarvey, Jeremy Dennis, Jeremy Garretson, John Wickersham, Josh Gosfield, Kara Hoblin, Kelynn Z. Alder, Lori Horowitz, Madeline Daversa, Manuel Macarrulla, Michael Drakopoulos, Nancy Bueti-Randall, Nick Weber, Randall Rosenthal, Rosario Rodriguez, Sandra Mack-Valencia, Sheila Breck, Sueey Gutierrez, and Susan Meiselas.

Through his contribution to The Worker, Dennis reflects on the intersections of identity, heritage, and creative labor as an Indigenous artist from the Shinnecock Nation. His work continues to explore how representation, storytelling, and visibility act as forms of resistance and remembrance.

“This exhibition honors those whose work often goes unseen — the cultural, physical, and emotional labor that sustains our communities,” says Dennis. “I’m honored to be part of a show that uplifts that humanity.”
